This is your home and our work together should reflect this. With an addition, I like to have the new space feel as if it was always a part of your existing home, both inside and out. I think it's important to match the room heights, window and door styles, and all existing trim. This doesn't mean you can't improve upon what you have, but in the end it should all tie in together.
